Mumpa is a listing service which lists resources relevant to parents. It has a forum for parents to discuss parenting issues/stories. Mumpa aims at assisting users in making informed decisions based on reviews and recommendations. It also lists exciting deals from local stores.

This privacy policy explains how we collect, use and disclose information about you when you use our mobile application (the "App") or website, or when you otherwise interact with us. By using the App/website you consent to our collection, use and disclosure of your personal information as described in this privacy policy.

IDENTITY - FIND ACCOUNTS ON THE DEVICE

Mumpa may collect information that identifies you as a specific individual and can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Information”). Examples of Personal Information include your name, email, contacts list, address and phone number

Mumpa does not transmit data about a user without obtaining the user’s prior permission and providing the user with access to information about how and where the data will be used.

COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

Information We Collect Automatically When You Use the App

When you access or use our app, we automatically collect certain information about you. This information includes:

Log Information: We log anonymized information about your use of the app, including the type of device you use, access times, filter choice, whether you use the front or back camera, camera orientation and location information. We anonymize this information by hashing it and use the data purely for analytic and product improvement purposes. The information about your pictures is always associated anonymously to the device.

Device Information: We collect anonymized information about the mobile device you use to access our app, including the hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers and mobile network information. We use this anonymized information for analytic and product improvement purposes.

Location Information: We collect anonymized information about the location of your device each time you access or use the app. For more details, please see “Your Choices” below.

Network: The App will access network connectivity if it is available

Contacts: The App will access your contacts

Camera Access: We never save or retain the pictures you take on your device. These remain stored on your device and are only accessible by you - unless you share them via another means (email, message, cloud storage, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc.) When you use the device camera to share pictures/media on Mumpa, through the app, we get access to only those pictures/media which you explicitly share on Mumpa.

If you log in with your Facebook/Google+ account in the app, we save the following information:

Your name, your profile picture and gender.

We are not able to and will never post to your Facebook or Google+account.

USE OF INFORMATION

The Application obtains the information you provide when you download and register the Application. Registration with us is optional. However, please keep in mind that you may not be able to use some of the features offered by the Application unless you register with us.

When you register with us and use the Application, you generally provide (a) your name, email address, user name, password and other registration information.

We may also use the information you provided us to contact your from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions.

In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application.

When you visit the mobile application, we may use GPS technology (or other similar technology) to determine your current location in order to determine the city you are located within and display a location map with relevant advertisements. We will not share your current location with other users or partners.

If you do not want us to use your location for the purposes set forth above, you should turn off the location services for the mobile application located in your account settings or in your mobile phone settings and/or within the mobile application.

We may use this information about you for various purposes, including:

Provide, deliver, maintain, test and improve our Service;

Send you technical notices, updates, confirmations, security alerts and support and administrative messages;

Respond to your comments, questions and requests and provide customer service;

Mumpa takes reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. Please do your part to ensure security. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your account information, and for controlling access to your device. Your privacy settings may also be affected by changes the social media services you connect to Instagram make to their services. We are not responsible for the functionality, privacy, or security measures of any other organization.

COOKIES

A "cookie" is a small piece of information stored by a web server on a web browser so it can be later read back from that browser. Mumpa uses cookie and tracking technology depending on the features offered. No personal information will be collected via cookies and other tracking technology; however, if you previously provided personally identifiable information, cookies may be tied to such information. Aggregate cookie and tracking information may be shared with third parties.

ACCOUNT INFORMATION

If you wish to delete your account, follow the instructions on the App Store or device. Note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes as may be necessary to fulfill the purposes identified in the privacy policy. We may also retain cached or archived copies of anonymized information about you for a certain period of time.

PUSH NOTIFICATIONS AND ALERTS

With your consent, we may send push notifications or alerts to your mobile device. You can deactivate these messages at any time by changing the notification settings on your mobile device.

PROMOTIONAL COMMUNICATIONS

If you have given your email address, you may receive promotional communications from Mumpa. To opt out, follow the instructions in those communications. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional communications, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations.

GEOLOCATION INFORMATION

When you first launch the App, you will be asked to consent to our use of location information. We require this location information in order for the App to function as designed.

If you consent to our collection of location information, you may subsequently stop the collection of this location information at any time by pausing location tracking from within the application’s settings menu, or by changing the location preferences on your mobile device. However, if you stop the collection of this location information, you will not receive the full benefit of the App.

If you consent to our collection of location information and you do not subsequently stop the collection of this location information, the App will continue to collect this location information.

If you consent to our collection of location information, subsequently stop the collection of this location information and later consent to the collection of this location information, the App will resume the collection of location information.

You may also stop our collection of location information by following the standard uninstall process to remove the App from your device.
